Questions from daycares and child care centres
What cleaning supplies does a daycare need?
At minimum: disposable gloves and disinfectant for every change table, foam hand soap and paper towels at every sink, food-safe sanitizer for tables and toys, facial tissue in each room, liners for diaper pails and bins, and toilet tissue. The checklist on this page covers each area of a centre.
Do you deliver to daycares across the GTA?
Yes. We deliver to child care centres across Toronto, Peel, York, Durham and Halton from our warehouse in Scarborough. Delivery is free over the order minimum for your city.
Can we set up a standing order?
Yes. Choose to repeat your order every 2, 4 or 8 weeks at checkout and we'll place it automatically and confirm each delivery by email. You can stop it at any time.
Which gloves are best for diaper changes?
Vinyl gloves are economical for quick, low-risk tasks like diaper changes. Nitrile is stronger and better for disinfecting with chemicals or for staff with latex concerns. Many centres keep both.
Do you supply products for public health inspections?
We supply the disinfectants, sanitizers, gloves and hand hygiene products centres use in their daily cleaning routines, and we can send safety data sheets with any order. Check your local public health unit's requirements for the products and contact times you must use.
How does delivery work for daycares and child care centres?
Delivery is free on orders over $250 across most of the GTA; smaller orders pay a $35 delivery fee. In Oakville, Milton, Caledon, Bolton, Halton Hills, Aurora, Newmarket and Bowmanville, and outside the GTA, delivery is free over $500, with a $65 fee below that. Amounts are before HST. We confirm stock and your delivery date by email before anything ships, and you pay by invoice.
